Gretsch & Richwood Guitars Auction Preview
Here are a few items in the pipeline for listing at www.liquid8music.com soon. As ever you may make me an offer beforehand.
Firstly we have a Gretsch Pro-jet upgraded with a pair of Alnico P90s and a stop tailpiece/bridge like the 1950's Les Paul.
It plays really well with a nice low action and great tone that you'd expect from p90s.
The guitar is in good condition except for 2 chips in the surface on the top on by the bridge and one on the dge of the pickup route. They have been filled in with gold paint but don't really show.
The first £197 (Plus P&P) O.N.O gets it! That's less than you'd pay for a basic Squier or Epiphone and this is a Gretsch!
First come - first served, email me to andy(at)liquid8music.com and I'll sort out invoice and delivery.
This Richwood Artist series has a retail price tag of £279. It's a remarkably good guitar for the price - has a solid spruce top with rosewood back and sides.
The attention to detail is great; gold hardware, pearloid tuner keys and the binding on the neck and top is real spruce not the plastic that you get on much more expensive acoustics.
I have a handbuilt Lowden as my main guitar and this baby would make a decent back up!
It really is top notch.
I'd take £179 or nearest offer - let me know if you're interested before it goes to auction.
