Ibanez Musician Fretless Bass (like Sting, U2, John Entwhistle - The Who etc)

Here we have a tasty 1980 Ibanez Fretless Musician Bass.

This bass is an excellent example of a well-regarded model. They were used by Sting (Police) and U2 among others, and have become a collectible in their own right.

Exotic wood construction (neck-through for maximum tone and sustain), lush ebony fingerboard (can't be called a fretboard if it has no frets!), 3-band active EQ, switchable passive OR active...the list of features goes on and on.

This bass has been well played with lots of character. It's been owned from new for over 2 decades by the bass player in an band from the 80's called The Xdreamysts who enjoyed a few charts hits in their day.

Complete with its original hard case I plan to list it for about £700GBP or best offer (I saw an almost identical one on eBay recently for $1700) they are very hard to come by.
